Week 1: Decision Making Fun
It took all of last semester, and some of the semester before that, to decide on what to do for my senior project. I will be doing a West Virginia themed mini travel show. My inspiration for this project was the large variety of travel shows that are popular these days. No matter what you’re into, whether it be monuments, camping, food or ghosts, there’s a show that shows exactly where to travel to.
I have always loved the adventure and ghost hunting shows that are popular, so my mini travel show will focus on just those things. It is not final yet exactly where I will be traveling to (since there are many crucial steps to being able to film in public places legally) but some of the more popular places that I have in mind include the Trans- Allegany Lunatic Asylum in Weston, the haunting history of Harpers Ferry, the beautiful castle in Berkeley Springs and possibly the hidden secret of an amazing tunnel in Paw Paw.
With all of these hidden treasures, I am hoping to reveal some of West Virginia’s most well- kept secrets and bring out the adventurer in all of us.
Any ideas of where else to go? Any suggestions on what to name the show? Post a comment below!
